North Sun Nurseries Inc. (NSNI) was formed in February 2002, with the merger of North Sun Gardens Ltd and Swastika Tree Nursery Inc. North Sun operates two nursery facilities in Northeastern Ontario. Our Head office is located at the Swastika Division 32km west of Kirkland Lake on Highway 66. The Ramore Division is located 1km west of Highway 11 near Ramore, Ontario.

Ramore Division is situated on 240 acres of land with 45 gutter connected greenhouses and 5 coldframes. Swastika Division is situated on 500 acres of land with 10 Vary, 2 gutter connected & 1 Gro-more greenhouses and 11 coldframes. Swastika Division also has 56, 4.2 acre field compartments, which are fully irrigated. North Sun has a capacity to grow 22 million container seedlings and can grow 60 million bareroot seedlings, with cold storage facilities that can handle 17.5 million container seedlings.

We grow a wide variety of tree species for the forestry industry (white pine, red pine, jack pine, white spruce, just to name a few), along with landscape stock.
